The intense poem at the end of this letter may offend many. It was inspired by a story about Occupy Denver’s choice to OK the indigenous proposal which is a direct agenda of the American Indian Movement (AIM).

The media is portraying the Occupy Movement as a leftist political protest, yet it is going global and knows no party. For the movement to truly be effective all the agendas of various groups who want to insert themselves must be denied. That is the politics of separation and does not represent the 99%. It was very PC to approve this indigenous proposal but I am certain the vast majority of those present have no idea what is in the treaties AIM wants to be honored now, from the last couple hundred of years in the past. The reality is, it is simply not possible to do so.
Occupy Denver unanimously voted to support the “Indigenous Platform Proposal for “Occupy Denver” offered by AIM. This tells me the people of Occupy Denver don’t get it, they just allowed themselves to be infiltrated by the personal agenda of AIM and were perhaps too frightened to be seen as unloving or worse, look racist, to say NO, this is about the 99%, not the agenda of one Indian group who is not even supported by all their own people. How can you lose the point so quickly only a couple weeks into this? When the first group showed up with an agenda that activated the collective guilt of our society Occupy Denver gave away the 99% to a special interest!
Any group that wants to use this movement to further an agenda that fulfills only their own desires also does not get it, that action is divisive, not an expression of the unity of the 99%. AIM sees every one of you who voted in favor of their proposal as an occupier, in the most negative sense, of a land they want to own in whole, not share with the rest of the 99%. I hope you have all packed your things and chosen another continent on which to reside! They seek to live in a past long since gone. Yes the United States has broken all their treaties with the tribes! The truth is the United States has broken EVERY treaty it has ever signed with anyone! There is no way to undo the past and force the current generations to live the integrity that was lacking in our collective ancestors. We are in this together, here and now, this day, this year, there is only moving forward with solutions for the present and the future. We can only use our power to make all our governments world wide act with integrity in the present and the future, including tribal governments!
Just as a parent who has beaten their child cannot take back that abusive action, those who created the injustice against the native people of North America cannot take back the genocide that occurred here both before the formation of the United States by several European nations and after by the U.S. Apologies can take place between the parent and the child, they can change their way of relating but the pain of that beating remains in the heart of the child. Although AIM carries the pain of the genocide of their ancestors they show us their anger and desire for retribution. The offenders however are dead, the governments they left behind oppress and abuse us all! There is no one that can truly issue apology nor would AIM accept it if they could.
As we stand against external oppression we must remember that the worst part of oppression, like post traumatic stress, actually comes much later, when we have to fight the oppression within ourselves because we have come to believe that we are less, can do less, are powerless. We act from this place of learned powerlessness creating more oppression for ourselves and those around us. We often learn this oppression from our parents and grandparents; we must fight their thoughts in our heads! Many of us will find our own family members angry or hurt by our refusal to participate in this inherited cycle. To create the world in which we wish to live we must break these cycles. We can accept the beautiful things all our ancestors have left us, but we do not have to wear their scars with pride or with shame. We have to take an equal stand against this internal oppression and step into our true power of open hearted freedom and respect for all life.
Europeans especially have bought into the romantic myth of the American Indian and deify them and think they were all peaceful and loving, but they fought among themselves the same as all the tribes of Europe. The advantage the Europeans had when they arrived on the North American continent was simply that they had developed technology the North American populations did not have yet, which gave them a war advantage. If the weapons and tech had been equal, the genocide would not have occurred. Nothing has changed, those with the tech kill those who do not have equal tech and genocides continue. Native American soldiers fight for the United States; Native American worker’s pay U.S. taxes and are U.S. citizens, despite the talk of sovereignty, because of this they are equal participants in the genocide in Iraq and other countries perpetrated by the U.S. The U.S. is not alone in their genocidal ways, China has perpetuated genocide in Tibet, their one child law created genocide within their own borders. Genocides are happening all over Africa every year. Genocide is happening right here in America though the poisoning of our food, water, soil and our air, sickening and killing our people. People around the world are being fed pharmaceuticals that kill them and they are told that they will heal them in the name of profit. ALL genocide comes from the 1% who want to own and control the whole earth and hold the 99% hostage as slaves either directly or through economics.
I am not republican, I am not democrat, I am not Socialist, Communist or Marxist, I am not Christian, Jew or Muslim, I am not American in this movement. In my heart, I know no boundaries, I am in an earth body but I am not earthling, I am spirit expressing as human. I am here because my Creator put me here and that same Creator did not ask me to pay for my existence with imaginary money. The resources of this planet belong to all the inhabitants. No claim otherwise is legitimate. Not the claims of the American Indian or any other indigenous tribe, not the claims of any of the world’s governments. This earth is the temporary home to all species that the Creator placed here. There is no person, group or corporation that has the right to claim this earth and charge me for my existence. I do not recognize the 1%’s right to produce money and hold me hostage to it.
I will not shoulder the burden of guilt of the genocide against the American Indian or the Jewish Holocaust, or any of the other heinous genocides of this planet. I will not forget them either, we must learn from them by refusing to let The Powers That Be label and divide us. The 1% still has all the tech, the war advantage to continue their ways of genocide and slavery of the human population. WE THE PEOPLE of planet earth have the numbers to counter all the technology they have, and the ability to use their own technology to serve our message of true freedom, but only if we stand together! The very thing they use to divide us, our diversity, is our greatest strength if we can get past the agendas of attempting to amend the past, which is impossible, and start from this moment forward.
Abuse, murder, rape and every other form of violence in this world exist because we the collective allow it to exist. Our prisons are full mostly of people who are being punished for breaking laws that may have nothing to do with harmonious human interaction, but serve the corrupt government entity of any given county. The purpose of prison is supposed to be to protect society from the people who for reasons unknown are not capable of holding themselves to any standard of conduct, thus disrespecting themselves and their fellow humans. It is high time for humans to stop trying to control each other’s personal belief systems and stick with the basics in relation to curtailing each other’s freedoms. Not causing harm to another person’s body in any way is as basic as it gets. It does not matter if the harm is from one individual from corporate greed, or government tyranny. We must no long allow violence to exist on our planet. Our prison space should be reserved for these most heinous of criminals. Perpetrators of non violent crimes that society feels should be punished, like theft for example, are not served by removal from society. These people would learn by serving society in some way instead.
The idea that any human being should be hungry on this planet in a world so fully abundant is also our collective responsibility. I won’t hear the politics of fear that say to feed every human is some kind of evil socialist agenda! These are words the 1% throw around to manipulate us. To not feed and clothe every human on this planet and give them the freedom to seek adequate shelter is simply to be non human. It is the very definition of EVIL itself. We hold ourselves higher than our animal relations, we say we are evolved and claim our great intelligence. If a drought causes loss of life in a population of deer, we can accept that it is part of the natural cycles of nature. When we humans with stock piles of food, planes, ships and abilities that are beyond any other species sees a drought causing the horrific deaths of human beings and we as a whole do nothing, than we are simply collective Neanderthals, who have not evolved but have in fact become lost from the very nature of our self awareness. It is from our supposed species superiority that we have dominated this planet instead of acting with dominion by exercising true compassion. We have many reasons we use to justify our lack of compassion for other species, but are there any reasons for which we can truly attempt to justify not taking care of our own species?
This same philosophy applies to how we interact with our planet. We can no longer find any justification to the destruction of our ecosystems and diversity of life by the greed mongering of the way we have allowed our planet to be governed. We the 99% must become the caretakers of this earth and stop allowing her to be raped for personal gain of a small elite group. This does not mean forcing our personal agendas upon each other in the moral grey areas. Just like human interaction we must stick with the basics! We must stop radiating all life! We must stop building weapons, whether they be bombs or viruses! We must stop allowing the genetic intermixing and manipulation of species plant, animal and human! We must end all activity that puts toxic chemicals into ourselves and future generations, including the endless array of pharmaceuticals!
Being an honest, ethical, moral, non violent, compassionate human being does not come from our cultures, our governments or our religions it is something that must come from our hearts. We each must take responsibility for being that human being. If every human did that one thing we would need no governance! Every form of human governance has failed! The failure is not the failure of the particular form of governance; it is the failure of we the people choosing to live with integrity and respect. All respect for one another, the earth and all her non human inhabitants is born in self respect! Humans in integrity, in harmony with all life, can make any form of governance work. It is we who have decided that allowing the 1% to govern us is simply easier than to be honest, ethical, moral, non violent, compassionate, integral human beings. The result is self evident! As we step out to reclaim and occupy this Earth, taking back the power from the 1% that we willing gave over, whether in ignorance, manipulation or simply fear of our divine nature, we must take back the responsibility of our personal and collective humanity!
We have proven that all old ways have not worked, we cannot build a new world society on the old platforms. AIM has not solved any of the problems in Indian Country, the proposal that AIM put forth will not solve those problems either. Achieving those stated goals would only feed another generation of hatred and oppression. Those problems stem from those same broken platforms that do not allow for real solutions.
We must consider how we define the 1%. The Wall Street millionaires and billionaires are obvious but what about our world microcosms? What about the one percent on the Indian Reservation that are not part of the power elite of the global world, but are the power elite of the tribal world. The wealthiest tribes are still leaving their tribal members in poverty, nothing has trickled down there any more than it has off the Reservation. Tribes who are the most land rich have the same issues as those with almost no land. Land and money are obviously not the answer! The 1% includes the oppressors who hold power even when on a global scale they do not control the mass of global wealth, they control the wealth within their sphere of power. The corrupt leaders of third world nations whose total wealth as a nation is less then Oprah’s personal wealth, are part of the 1% who steal the freedom and dignity of their people and allow heinous genocides within their borders.
We must reach deep within as a species and find a truly new way to heal and relate to one another and our Earth Mother, and tell the 1% that their reign of power (terror) is over, they have failed our species, and our planet, and we now as individuals, and collectively, must choose to hold the WHOLE of humanity to a higher standard!
Here is the poem in spoken form the written form is also below. I chose to do the video because I wanted the poem to be heard as it was intended.
We Are The 7th Generation
We are the 7th generation
Our skin is white
We’ve lost track of our tribes
We are denied the truth of our existence
We are denied the right to practice the religion of our ancestors
We are arrested for having the sacred feather of our Eagle brother
We are called fakes by the descendents of our grandfathers whose skin is still red
Our ancestors speak to us and show us the true ways
The same ways many of our registered tribal relatives have long forgotten in their quest
to control and keep our collective wisdom to themselves.
We speak of reconciliation and love
Our relatives often speak of hate and separation
They refuse to release the prophecies of our ancestors when they were told to
They refuse to bring us home as our grandfathers told them they must
They hold the sacred objects with pride
The pride of arrogance
Many of them have become that which they claimed to hate
They litter our precious earth on the lands they hold only for those with cards
Then tell us, their relatives, how to interact with our Mother
Clean up our sacred homeland brothers and sisters!
Who are you to speak of my connection to Earth and Spirit
Where is your love for the Earth Mother expressed?
You deny your own great grandchildren based on laws of a country you claim
sovereignty from in order to get money
You rule our tribes with a system of governance that is not the system of our grandfathers
You protest Columbus as a sign of the United States genocide against our ancestors
Columbus was but one Spaniard,
There were English, French and Spaniards all over this continent long before the United
States was created.
There were Vikings all across the East before Columbus
Our ancestors here in America fought bitterly among themselves
Now you deny this as you pow wow together and allow the myth that our ancestors were
all peaceful
That they shared a common way
When the ways were as varied as the tribes of Europe.
Yet you collectively tell us, your relatives, that we are doing things wrong
The hypocrisy!
The white grandparents of the 7th generation were not all greedy warmongers or
participants in genocide
Many of them came here because in the native lands of Europe they were denied their
right to worship in the ways of their tribal ancestors.
You deny this because it serves you to paint them all as Evil
We the 7th generation bring from this heritage a way of life similar to our Indian relatives
of the Americas.
Genocide was committed against the ancestors of our white heritage as well.
Evil seeks to stop truthful or harmonious ways on all continents.
You the card carrying
Prove your status
Your supposed right to judge us
There are no full bloods, no halves or quarters
Your papers are lies that belie the DNA in your body
That is the lie you tell yourselves
You all have the blood of the white, the yellow or the black
Just as we the 7th generation have the blood of our red ancestors
When our ancestors speak to us,
We do not need your permission to listen or to follow their lead!
We have stolen nothing!
We do not deny your the right to follow your white, yellow or black ancestors
You pick and choose as you want
How long does a group live in one location before they are indigenous?
Is there truly such a thing?
Humans have migrated all across this planet.
Many tribes claim to have come from the stars
Yet they still claim rights upon this earth
Many would say all whites should go back to Europe
Along the Mediterranean there are people with 10% Native American DNA
Where are they indigenous to?
Should tribes claiming to come from the stars go back to their home planets?
It is too late to enforce the broken treaties of generations past
We live in a different world
We must move forward
There is nothing new under the sun
Stone circles, drumming, dancing, holy ceremonies are found all over the planet
They do not belong to you or any!
They are of the Spirit
They belong to all the children of the Creator
Just as the Earth truly belongs to none
Including the ancestral lands of our shared grandparents.
Both here and on every other continent
The universal truth;
Victims who do not enlighten themselves to the whole
Will always rise up to be victimizers while proclaiming their right to take back
The problem my relatives, is not Columbus Day
It is the corruption of all the governments of this our Earth
We, the relatives of common ancestors allowing these corrupt ones to claim
The lands, the seas, the resources from all of humankind
The tribal governments are owned by the same
They rape our Earth for the same corporate masters
WAKE UP red skinned brothers and sisters!
You fight the wrong enemies!
To fulfill your own egos
To be right
To claim victory of a lost battle that cannot be re-fought
To be vindicated
We know that ALL genocide is wrong
There is no way for those who perpetrated that crime to make amends
They are dead
The sins of the fathers are not the sins of the generations who follow
If a child continues the path of his ancestors evil deeds
Those deeds are his alone
Generational guilt will not ease the heartache
It will only disempower us all
Get out of your heads
Out of your emotion of victimization
Align your souls with the true ancients
Those who see that we are ALL their descendants
For 50 years they have been returning
They come in the skins of all colors
All cultures
All languages
We must retain the good things of all cultures!
We must release the warmongering ways of ALL cultures!
We must stop trying to own these things!
We must be HUMAN!!
We are the 7th generation the ones our ancestors talked about
We are white, yellow, brown, black and red
And the generation that follows us are the 7th generation, and the one after.
Every generation is the 7th generation of those past.
What have our ancestors left us?
What will we leave those seven generations beyond?
The teaching to look seven generations ahead and choose wisely our actions is today
And tomorrow
See the big picture
See the true enemies to humanity
Enemies of LOVE, Harmony, Peace, Unity, and Joy
Enemies of true FREEDOM for all
Some of these enemies live among you
They hide in your red skins
They pit you against your relatives of other colors to hide their own crimes
To know the enemy you must look into an individual’s heart
To do this you must truly know your own
How do you know your own heart when you are fighting the battles of the dead?
Grieve, then carry the burden no more!
We are the 7th generation
The wisdom of our ancestors of all races lives within us
They ask us to let go of our ancestor’s mistakes
To revel in the beauty of our true divine humanity
To forgive ourselves and each other for our collective ignorance
Forgive those who passed along their grudges and obligated us to hate those we know not
I hear you pray; you say we are all related
But you will not look me in my eyes
Or see my heart
We are of the same Creator
Let us be HUMANS
Let us give the children seven generations into the future no more grudges and guilt to
burden them!
For THEY are OUR 7th generation
We hold responsibility for their future, just as our ancestors seven generations back hold
responsibility for what we face today.
I refuse to pass on to them hate and endless conflict
We must remove the divisions of the past and unify our hearts
I hope that you my human relatives can see the truth and wisdom in that
Tatiacha ~ October 11, 2011

WOW, knocked me off! love it!
I think you may be a tiny minority LOL I felt like it was one of the most powerful hings I have ever written but it sure didn’t seem to be received so maybe it was just an energy people couldn’t receive.
